3 drawings

The first one is done by read marker and pieces from plastic bags. On the weekends, when I go to the outdoor market near my friend's accommodation, I found out each sell gave me a plastic bag to hold the vegetables I bought without asking if I need or not. For that afternoon, I ended up holding 3 plastic bags when I got home. I cannot imagine how many plastic bags the market would use for a day, a week, a month and then a year. the use of plastic bags which cause severe pollution to the environment should be reduced in our daily life. To record my experiences and thoughts, I did this collage combining the plastic bags and red lines together to represents the importance of reducing the use of plastic bags.

The second drawing is done on the front seat on the second floor of bus in London. It was a sunny day on weekend, there are many people hanging out on the streets. On bus, I can see that while many people choose to travel by foot or public transportation, there are still a lot of people traveling by car, even causing traffic gam. Thus, I did this sketch to record a time when many car are producing carbon dioxide which is one of the most serious damage to our environment.

The third sketch is an image from my memory. On that day, many students were eating lunch in the part near our foundation building. As many people were having take our food or snacks bought from supermarket nearby, we produced a lot of waste and plastic bags. The trash bins cannot hold our rubbishes, so many of the students left the garbages outside the bins. Then, pigeons, crows and squirrels were coming near the bins and finding food out of our trashes. We all know that seasoners like salt, oils or others are harmful to wild animals as there are risks of death if they take too much human food. However, This bad thing is happening everyday. As a result, this drawing is done to remind myself of protecting wild animals.
